Supporting Parents and Babies Across their Pregnancy Journey & Beyond
Supporting new parents and babies with the resources they need is crucial to cultivating a healthier, more resilient Washington. With over 20% of the state’s counties classified as maternity care deserts and national maternal mortality rates on the rise, it’s more important now than ever that we remain committed to giving parents the resources and skills they need to thrive throughout their pregnancy journey and beyond.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Coordinated Care, a statewide leader in maternal health, to bridge gaps in care and support families with resources that break down barriers, expand access, and foster healthy beginnings for all. Coordinated Care has a number of first-in-the-state programs and benefits working to address social drivers of health during pregnancy and childbirth – improving health outcomes of pregnant and postpartum members. Together, we can meet the whole-health needs of all Washingtonians and transform the health of our community, one person at a time.
